BeddingCleaner wins silver at EuroTier 2022

In 2021 during the digital version of Europe's leading trade fair in the agricultural sector, Hanskamp's CowToilet won the coveted gold medal. Now, a year and a half later, the fair may again take place physically and Hanskamp falls in the awards again. This time with the BeddingCleaner submitted by Hanskamp for the Innovation Awards.

The BeddingCleaner is a machine that comes into its own in a VrijLevenStal concept. A VrijLevenStal is a barn without cubicles or manure pit and most closely resembles a free-range barn. A free-range barn with an organic or inorganic bedding. The BeddingCleaner drives over the bedding of the barn and, while driving, picks up the top layer of bedding and then sieves it. The cow patties are breaded and picked up by the sifting belt after which they are stored in the machine's collection bin. After a ride with the BeddingCleaner through the barn, the bedding is once again dry and clean for the best possible living environment for the cow.
