Programme
We will start the day at 10:00 a.m. at the Dorpshuus in IJzerlo, within walking distance of the recently opened VrijLevenStal, which we will be visiting. The programme will last until approximately 1:00 p.m. After registering, you will receive the exact address and further practical information.
Why take part in the FreeLivingBarn event?
The VrijLevenStal is a future-proof barn concept that empowers nature. It’s a place where cow welfare truly thrives. Not only does it improve the health of the cows, it also allows them to live more naturally. Additionally, the barn emits fewer greenhouse gases compared to a traditional cubicle barn. During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions to a dairy farmer who is already using the system and gain valuable insights for your own farm.
