We will start the day at the Hanskamp Innovation Centre in Doetinchem, from where we will visit the recently opened VrijLevenStal in Aalten.
Why take part in the FreeLivingBarn event?
The VrijLevenStal is a future-proof barn concept that empowers nature. It’s a place where cow welfare truly thrives. Not only does it improve the health of the cows, it also allows them to live more naturally. Additionally, the barn emits fewer greenhouse gases compared to a traditional cubicle barn. During the event, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions to a dairy farmer who is already using the system and gain valuable insights for your own farm.
